Looking for authentic Yummylicious shockalingam and slurpylicious Nonya cuisine in TTDI? Peranakan Place Fong is the place. Each bite is full of succulent flavours which will make your mouth salivate like it has not salivated before. Don’t forget to try the Nonya laksa, Pie Tie and Nonya cendol. Wash it all down with a generous mug of hot or iced Mint Mojito or Pea Flower Tea.

Craving Nyonya Laksa, it's the best Nyonya Laksa in my opinion, always come here when I have a craving for Nyonya Laksa and Pai Tee. Even better now, when they remove the shell of the shrimp.. easier to eat .. I find it a hassle to peel off the shell everytime. Great improvement. I dare say, you don't need to go all the way to Mallaca. It's a tourist trap. City folks can just come here. And I dare say.. it's even better than Baba Charlie Cafe.

They run a brisk business during lunch hour.. Full house. I tried their assam laksa the previous time i came, it was deliciouss.. So i come again, this time ordered their char kway teow.. Staffs and chefs are v efficient.. I was seated v quickly and my order served within 10mins. The char kway teow tasted okok, nothing to shout about.. About a 6/10. Think is because they are halal certified, so there is no pork lard. Pricewise, it is fairly reasonable.

We only came for cendol and chit chat in the afternoon. Glad we did. The cendol was authentically yummy with good amount of gula melaka and coconut cream. Top with a good dose of red bean slightly mashed to sweeten the whole deal. This eatery apparently is the sister branch of the restaurant of same name in Melaka.

A pleasant spot for Peranakan cuisine with well-presented dishes and authentic flavors. The food is tasty, especially the mains, though some dishes could have been more robust in seasoning. Drinks are refreshing and pair well with the meals. Service is friendly and attentive, though during peak hours there can be a slight wait for food. The atmosphere is comfortable with nice traditional touches, making it a relaxing place to dine in. Overall, a good choice if you’re craving Nyonya flavors in a convenient mall setting.

Tried 3 different types of nasi goreng 1. Nasi goreng peranakan - normal fried rice with ayam goreng berempah and sambal . Nasi goreng has got a good wok hei, the ayam berempah was tender but slightly on the salty side . The sambal was somehow lacks oomph 2 Nasi goreng nyonya - true to tradition, ayam goreng nyonya was fried with sambal belachan and had good wok hei too. Unfortunately, the Condiments are quite similar to other nasi goreng dishes which was a piece of fried chicken , lettuce and keropok 3 Pineapple fried rice too served in a rather similar manner , however pineapple fried rice had chunks of pineapple in it 4 rojak buah - the sauce was quote alright. Not too sweet or diluted.
